IF you have trouble keeping focused on your assignments and

tasks, here are five apps to help you keep track of your

progress!

Trello

Trello is a task management app that gives you a “bird’s-eye view” on all your daily tasks –especially with its design of a whiteboard with post-it notes. You can use it for task delegation during group projects, because one Trello dashboard can be accessed by multiple users at one go. Trello is not only a mobile application, you can also access it on its website. It is portable to every gadget you are using.

Mint

Mint is a finance management app that allows you to keep track of your spending easily. It gives you an overview of your spending habits, and helps you to create a budget suited to your needs and wants. In addition, Mint sends you reminders when your bills and credits are due. When you run low on funds for the month, it cautions you against overspending. Not just that, it gives you tips on how you can increase your funds, so you’ll never worry that you run low on them.

GoalsOnTrack

Are you one of those who make a whole list of resolutions at the beginning of the year, and yet by the end of the year, fail to achieve any of them? GoalsOnTrack allows you to keep track of your goals – and the reasons why you’d want to achieve them. It helps you break your goals down into smaller, implementable pieces, which are much more practical to achieve. For instance, you just have to key in your goal of getting that new handphone and the app would automatically move on with pages designed to have you key in schedules and action plans to have it done. It would make the goal seem less intimidating and much more accessible.

Forest

“Plant a tree and stay focused” – the motto on the app does seem a bit odd, but Forest is an app that helps you stay off your phone and fully immerse yourself in your work. During the time you spend off your phone, this app automatically starts “planting a tree”. It will be satisfying to see how the trees assemble into a huge forest. Forest has consecutively been ranked as one of the best apps to reduce phone dependence and keep users from phubbing.

Fooducate

We all want to be healthy but in a fast-paced world like ours, it may be quite difficult to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Fooducate helps you to be more responsible for your health. It offers tips for a healthy diet, besides giving grades for every meal that you have planned. This app is also convenient as you can retrieve nutritional information about a food item simply by scanning the barcode on the item’s packaging. You will be monitored so that you do not consume more than you need.
