1. Mia Maples
Mia Maples is a 20-year-old Canadian whose videos range from beauty and make-up tips to clothing hauls. In some videos, she walks you through various websites so, you’ll know what to look out for when making international online purchases. Girls looking to acquire jaw-dropping prom dresses may also take inspiration from Maples.
2. Kurt Hugo Schneider
American musician Kurt Hugo Schneider posts cover songs, from pop to classic oldies. What makes him stand out is that he doesn’t sing in 95% of his videos. Instead, he invites YouTube singers to take the centrestage while he appears as an instrument player. One of his videos has singers belting out Backstreet Boys’ I Want It That Way using candy bars as background instruments.
3. JinnyboyTV
This channel is co-founded by Jin Lim, better known as Jinnyboy, and his friend Reuben Kang. Both of them are brilliant in producing short films in which they highlight social happenings in Malaysia and address issues that Malaysians may not be keen to talk openly about. Not just that, they sprinkle their work with humour. From trending social challenges to hilarious parodies, every single video is guaranteed to leave you in stitches!
4. Cupcakeaisyah
In this channel, Nur Aisyah Mohd Razip, who goes by her nickname Cupcake Aisyah, uploads vlogs of her travels, beauty tips, musings and daily life. Teenagers like you and me can certainly relate to the 19-year-old, especially since she explains things in a way that is easy to understand.
5. Niana Guerrero
Niana Guerrero may be 13 years old but her dance skills aren’t to be underestimated. She and her brother Ranz Kyle own a YouTube channel each. They appear as each other’s partner as they produce dance covers of pop songs. They can also be seen goofing around in the car as their favourite playlists come on. In addition, Niana posts videos of herself taking up trending challenges and experiments, offering more variety and colour to her channel.
